"would give 4 1/2 stars, room was comfortable, lean and well presented. drop 1/2 a mark as tile loose in bathroom floor and no where to put shampoo bottles inside shower. had to drop on floor. otherwise lovely stay breakfast was excellent but no pastries left when we were in breakfast room."

"Stayed overnight prior to a day at the East Somerset Railway 10 minutes away. Jeff welcomed us on arrival , and showed us to our room. Room was compact, but very comfortable, en suite, tea and coffee , tv and hairdryer in room , and very comfy bed. Had a nice meal in the evening, served by a very friendly lady ( sorry we didn’t catch her name) , in the cosy dining room. We pre-ordered breakfast, which was lovely and set us up for the day. All in all this was s great stay, with friendly hosts and great value. We would thoroughly recommend the Pecking Mill Inn."

"I was slightly worried when we drove into the car park as it was a bit scruffy, but I needn’t have worried as the hotel is excellent, with large, comfortable, clean rooms, and really lovely staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return."
