"The room was spotless, the breakfast was very good, there was plenty of parking spaces and the staff were very helpful, polite and friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Riverside and will stay there again."

"The Old Mill is in a very old building with steep and narrow stairs which makes it hard to carry luggage. The hotel sits above a pub which can be noisy. However, the pub closes at 10:30 pm. We enjoyed our stay. The food in the pub was excellent. We also enjoyed the walk from the pub to downtown Salisbury on a country/city path. The staff was very accommodating and friendly."

"Great place if you want close to the railway: just across the street and around the corner. Very clean, room was small but comfortable, very clean. It did have too much of an air freshener odor so we hid the freshener sticks and didn't use the smelly soap. Staff were very helpful and friendly, and they stored our luggage in the early morning because we went to Stonehenge. I'd stay here again."

"Found the Pembroke Arms in a search for lodging near Stonehenge and it was spectacular! Amazing staff, pub dinner was excellent, bar had a great atmosphere and the room was lovely! King bed was HUGE. We were only there for a short visit but would definitely go back!!"

"Hotel is lovely with a great setting on the river, staff were very helpful and friendly, breakfast was first class, as was the Evening meal, did feel that the tables in the restaurant were a bit dated so a cloth to cover the table would have made it look so much nicer, I appreciate that the building is very old and had I known how noisy it was going to be I would have asked for an upstairs room, you could hear every step because the floorboards were very creaky and none of room doors had a soft close mechanism so there was constant door banging, it would also have been helpful if all guests could be reminded to be considerate by keeping the noise down when returning to there rooms late at night on the information sheet in the room. Having said all that it is a beautiful place in a great location and I will definitely be returning in a few months. Thank you "

"The hotel has been recently refurbished and was delightful and the bedroom excellent. The staff were so helpful and to park in the hotel car park was a bonus. Just a short walk into Salisbury was perfect. The only downside was the hotel restaurant as the food was very disappointing. The food had obviously been frozen and did not resemble the pictures on the website. There was only one other couple eating there so maybe other guests chose to eat locally. However I would recommend staying there and we will return."
