"The Lodge is very convenient for skiing, located at the base of the mountains next to the lifts. I stayed there in mid-March during many schools' spring break, and the hotel was very busy with lots of families. All of the staff that I met were friendly and helpful. I dined twice at the two restaurants on site: Alpine Hall and Tipsy Trout. Service quality was mixed. One night at Alpine Hall was professional, the other was amateurish with a poorly trained server and an out-of-date wine list. Service at Tipsy Trout was good. Unfortunately, I got very sick after having dinner at Alpine Hall my last night at the Lodge. When I reported my illness to a hotel employee, she asked what I had eaten and said that other guests had reported getting sick. I did not hear anything further from the Lodge. "

"As advertised. Conveniently located about 200 yards from free bus that takes you to the ski hill. Quaint minimart located at bus stop. "

"Great place! No issues with accommodations. Stowe did not staff the Toll House Lift Tuesday thru Thursday mid March. Ski In/Out is important to me. Stowe failed, I got one day of walk to ski out/ski in."

"Spacious and clean room. Staffs were friendly. Love the pancakes and french toasts in the morning. Also they provide afternoon tea :’). Feels amazing to have a cup of onion soup after coming back from skiing."

"Great proximity to ski to lifts & home (weather dependent) or lodge (by bus/shuttle). Affordable 3 day trip for four - with all features we sought - quiet, full kitchen, two bed/two bath, room to socialize, play games and relax. Incredibly clean, well maintained and stocked for cooking/baking and meeting coffee needs (k cup and drip). Adjustable temps with radiant electric heat. Great view out living room to enjoy nature. Plenty of parking (2 car passes) - 10 minutes to dining or grocery store. Stowe Mountain skiing was great (spring conditions) - we liked the diversity from Liftline to Toll Road. Crisp fresh tap water kept our group hydrated. Strongly recommend Ben & Jerry's while visiting. Enjoyed the visit & hope to return!"
