"Large room overlooking the River Dart, spacious, warm and comfortable. En suite a bit on the small side but shower warm and efficient. Staff friendly and food very good, with breakfast cooked to order. Plenty of parking and old building has character. "

"Sandra on reception was very welcoming and very friendly. Room was adequate for what we need, but would be better if there was some WiFi around the hotel. I enjoyed the game of bingo we had (even won). Evening entertainment singer was very good. Not good if you want an early night, but did finish at 10.30. Staying again next month."

I booked on the evening of my stay short notice, upon arrival I checked in & was shown to my room … a gracious little room aptly named ‘ The shoe box’ so cute everything I needed as a solo traveler.
