Great hotel, with amazing service and very good facilities but if you are looking for a nice beach this is not the place - the "swimmable" beach is very small and full of rocks. Food is good but too expensive.

I absolutely loved the atmosphere, friendly staff, and the property felt empty even though it was almost fully booked. Shout out to the Marea restaurant staff. The pizza and tacos were amazing! Sushi was fresh and delicious. Mezcal has the best cornbread and smoke butter I have ever had! We enjoyed our 4 night stay immensely. This is a jewel of a place. We had an oceanfront room on the second floor with a good sized balcony. Very well appointed room. Resort is even better than it appears in the photos...how often does that happen? Lots of niceties like the free minibar (re-stocked daily), "treats" at the pool...fruit on a skewer, frozen fruit pops, soothing aloe treatment and sample cocktails!! No need to claim the "choice" lounge chairs at the pool early..there are plenty, all are choice. The hotel was beautiful from the moment you walked in to the sleeping accommodations and the swimming pool resort area. The ocean views and private beach access was fantastic. One of the best customer service is experience we’ve had so far. Everyone was attentive and paid attention to detail.

We were thoroughly impressed with our stay here. We have stayed at “better rated”(just on Expedia) properties in Cabo and the Zoëtry was by far better for us. Our top qualities were heated pools and a hot tub (we always go early in the year and it can still be chilly so this was incredible!). We really enjoyed our stay! The staff was hospitable, attentive, and ensured we had a great time! The food was delicious- Vista Ballenas was the best, however, the dinner at Pergola was very good and the ambience was romantic. The oceanfront view was priceless! I would definitely recommend this resort for couples if you’re looking for a romantic getaway!

Amazing staff and hospitality

Amazing service, consistently throughout the trip. Beautiful hotel, clean rooms, gorgeous facilities. Best beachfront in San Jose del Cabo. And something most hotel reviewers don't often get to write: Kept every single guest calm, comfortable, and most importantly SAFE, during category 3 Hurricane Odile. This hotel, their management, and their staff, went so far above and beyond during the storm and in the days afterward, that words are not able to express my level of gratitude and amazement....

Our check in experience was not horrible but not the best. The staff was not as attentive with us as with other guest. We did not let that experience affect our stay. The staff at the restaurants, bars, cleanings, etc, were lovely! The food was delicious, the drinks we strong, the hotel was clean and beautiful, the pool was clean, and best part, no kids!

I had an amazing time! The staff at this property were above and beyond. From the concierge, reception to the pool and restaurant staff were AMAZING. Erik was súper profesional and polite. The Villa room was super clean and spacious. The view from my balcony was incredible. Morning coffee watching the whales from my balcony. ♥️ The only thing, is that entertainment is nice, however, after 8:30sh to 9:00 pm is over, and nothing after 10pm. Staff was amazing!!! Was not a fan of the time share desk, not understanding of the word NO!! I don't care if your giving me a free off site activity don't waste my time and I won't waste yours. Went to cabo for my Bachelorette and had 9 other girls with me, so i booked the 4 bedroom penthouse. Best decision i made hands down. The penthouse was everything that we asked for and more. We never felt squished or anything. Each room had their own bathroom with 2 sinks. Also, another guest bathroom next to the kitchen. We had 2 balconies, one of them was huge and had a plunge pool/jacuzzi and bbq grill. Also, the staff was amazing, they did so much and beyond what we asked for if we needed...
