"Phenomenal rental. Very spacious. The trails are well maintained. The pond is well stocked. The hot tub is perfectly placed. Beautiful photo ops. Stores are only a 10 minute drive, so going to grab supplies is too easy. Definitely bring sunscreen and the highest deet bug spray you can find. The host replied in minutes when I had questions and was very helpful. We didn't bring our dog, but there's a fenced in dog area that is perfect if you have runners. This isn't a personal location, so expect...

9. Eagle Point Cottage on Honeoye Lake

Honeoye

"We loved our time at Eagle Point! The view was gorgeous, the kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and there was ample room for the 5 of us. The loft was the perfect space for our three children: each had their own bed, there were activities to do, and there was a table and comfy chairs where they could sit and do a puzzle. We enjoyed the neighborhood playground that was over the little bridge. Pam and Keith were awesome hosts. Would definitely stay again!"

"The kitchen area was amazing. The couch was very comfortable and perfect for relaxing. The air conditioning did not work. There were no bathroom towels. Some beach towels. We had three total for 5 people. The advertised private beach access was not able to be found. We gave up and drove to the beach 2 miles away. This could be an amazing place if those things were fixed. We did ask for more towels. But they never came. The basement smelled like gas and I told the owner and he said he would...

RIT Inn & Conference Center

8/10 Good

"I’ve stayed here many times in the last few months and have always had a wonderful experience until this weekend and even then it wasn’t bad it just was ok. The light was blown in the room in the ceiling and one of the lamps also did not work. And the toilet wouldn’t stop running and didn’t flush well. I notified the front desk and they were very attentive in responding and taking care of things. The only other thing was the tub had a couple splashes of something dried to the bottom. I’ve found the rooms on the above floors are remodeled and nicer than the first floor rooms but still clean and the beds are comfy."
