Great get away for Christmas this year.

Just wanted to get away for a couple days for Christmas. The place was great! Very clean. Easy to find. The views were beautiful. I highly recommend!

This property is in a quiet area close to town. It is very close to the Cades Cove entrance of GSMNP. This is our 2nd time staying at this property and would recommend.

2nd Stay a Success

We returned for another weekend anniversary getaway. It has rustic charm and we love the large, floor to ceiling windows that let the morning light in and show off the gorgeous mountains and secluded landscape. Their horses, chickens, and barn cat are a pleasure to pass by and see. There was plenty to do in Townsend, and we came back in the evening and watched the sun set and the stars appear from the hot tub. Thank you Mrs. April for sharing your special place with travelers.

Love this place!

This was the third time that we have stayed at Country Manor, and it was as delightful as always. The suite is always very clean and comfortable. The view from the suite is amazing and the property is so peaceful. It's a great place to sit on the deck and relax while enjoying the view. We enjoyed petting the horses, the chickens and the cat. The owners are very friendly and personable and always make us feel at home there. We will be staying there again the next time we head to the Smokies.

Perfect for Anniversary

We are already making plans to return in the future. Close to everything we wanted to do in Townsend, but secluded enough for a romantic weekend together. The hot tub was the cherry on top after being out and about all day. We loved waving to the horses, chickens, and barn cat as well. They looked just as happy to be there as we were. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful location

My husband and I have stayed at this property previously and found that the location excellent for hiking in the park and visiting Dollywood. Location is close to Cades Cove.The room is a good size with an excellent view. Check in is easy with the owner leaving instructions near the office, taped on to the door of the room. The only negative is the cleanliness of the room. Very dusty under things. Needs a deep clean for sure.

Worth it!

Beautiful setting, quiet home overlooking the Smokies. Set in the noncommercialized town of Townsend with quick access to the National Park. The suite had its own entrance, access to the deck with hot tub just for this suite, plenty of towels. Easy check-in. The facilities had access to host weddings and horseback riding on their acreage, if this is something you need. Our last day the area was inundated with rain (4inches) yet we enjoyed listening to the rain on the tin roof and sitting on the veranda watching the mist and rain on the hills while listening to the rolling thunder. Unfortunately the rain from the mountains draining down tore up their access road a bit. My only criticism is that the room needs a deeper clean (blinds, ceiling fan, under the bed). Would stay here again!

Small Family Reunion

We have stayed at the Octagon Suite a number of times. It's a great suite for a couple with beautiful views. The hot tub is great after a day of hiking. It's always a pleasure working with the owners April, Jeff, and Nicole.
