"We had a great time staying at Doug's cabin during our recent VT trip. The cabin is spacious and very well equipped. Doug was always available to answer any questions or share recommendations, which we really appreciatedWe used the cabin as our base during a ski trip - Mount Snow is only 20 minutes away. "

"This was a beautiful secluded log cabin in great part of Vermont. The wood stove made for a great experience and housed us perfectly for a ski weekend.*One thing to note is the house is located 10 minutes on backroads up on a mountain. During the winter season there should be a note on the listing advising for a truck, SUV or 4W drive. My Sedan was unable to make it up to to the house the first night and lucky another guest of ours had a Ford F-150 to get us up to the home. The second night I also barely made it up and it was dangerous. Plan ahead in the winter.I am still giving this a 5 star rating as I would book again for other seasons. The home and location is beautiful and dog friendly"

"Very cozy and comfortable bedrooms, living room kitchen and bathroom. Loved the movies, games, fireplace and records. Everything worked well for our winter ski getaway. "

"We had a great stay at this ski house rental overall!The kitchen was very good — stocked with everything we needed. The bathrooms were spacious and well kept, and the bedrooms were large with plenty of beds to accommodate everyone easily. Communication with the owners was quick and seamless from start to finish, which made everything stress-free.The one con was that we were informed the day before arrival that the propane fireplace wasn’t working due to maintenance. It would have been nice to know earlier, especially since it’s the middle of winter and the fireplace adds to the ski house experience. We booked the house expecting the fireplace. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and we appreciated how responsive the owners were throughout the process."

"The room was wonderful. SO spacious and well-appointed, extremely clean. Loved the excellent bedding, the soaking tub, the perfect water pressure in the shower. We did not expect the flat-screen TV, so it was a treat to have. Don't let the lack of restaurant bother you: There are plenty of great choices around, though you have a bit of a drive. For a leisurely romantic weekend, I can't think of a better place. "

"Wonderful property. Perfect for our family trip. Plenty of room , the basement being the most used by the kids. Clean, neat with all the essentials. Large kitchen well stocked. Sledding on the property itself was priceless. Would definitely recommend and rent again. Hosts and property manager available and easy to communicate with. "

"We were disappointed to learn that the hot tub would not be repaired before our stay, as it was a major reason we chose this property and was prominently advertised. We were not notified in advance and only discovered the change ourselves, requiring us to contact Vacasa for confirmation. While the home itself was wonderful and met our needs—especially the unexpected and much-enjoyed vinyl collection—the process of obtaining a hot tub refund took over two weeks. Although Vacasa was generally responsive, communication from the local team was slow, which raised concerns about responsiveness in the event of an emergency. Overall, the house is a great property for large groups, comfortably fitting 12 people with ample living and dining room space to gather. There was also plenty of parking available near the house, which made coming and going during our ski trip very convenient."
