"The Inn is situated near the top of a mountain and surrounded by other hilltops. There are trails that help you to reconnect with nature. Our room was lovely and comfortable. There is a attention to detail in the decor of this establishment which is both delightful and humorous."

"This house was perfect for what we needed. We love camping at Jamaica State Park but had a 6 month old with us this year. The campsite was 5 minutes away. We had a campsite that we visited and stayed at during the day and most of the night but went back to the house for sleeping purposes. Great views."

"Beautiful home with fenced in yard that helped you forget you were roadside to a busy road. Yard was perfect to unwind and e jiy a campfire, or a walk in the shallow river behind the house. The amenities were great, and the washer/dryer inside the home helped during the stay. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay within 10 minutes of Mt Snow"

"Me and a few friends stayed at the River House during a long weekend during the Winter. The house itself was very nice and had many amenities.The location is good for some of the ski resorts in lower Vermont. However there was a rather large snow storm and due to the half hour 40 minute drive to the mountain we were not able to go because of the roads. This was no fault of the owners obviously but if you want to guarantee getting to the mountain maybe pick a place closer and have access to a car with 4x4 capabilities that can make it through snow.Even though we were snowed in we still had plenty to do as the house was full of board games, a pool table and a TV you could hook up any gaming system to.Be aware that you will also be totally reliant on the wifi at the house. the location is a dead spot for cell service. At one point our internet was disconnected and it took us awhile to realize that it went down but all it took is for one of us to unplug and plug the router back in and it went back up.Overall a really fun trip. "
