"We had a great time at the Lions Mane Lodge. Check in was simple. The house was warm and inviting. It was only a 10 min drive to Mt Snow so it was very convenient. All the amenities you could want. I would hightly recommend the Lions Mane Lodge to any family looking for space and convenience to the local mountains. "

It’s a bit of a drive to ski resorts but the price point and beautiful Townshend area makes up for it. Where can you drive over a beautiful working dam to get to your rental?Skene Acres has everything you need. "

" The location was beautiful RIGHT on the river and overall the house was charming. The heat warmed the house despite single digit temps outside but we really utilized the awesom ewood atove that threw lots of heat. There was plenty of wood to burn. One downside was i hadnt saved the access info for entry to the house & due to remote lication we had no signal to get the code so i had ro drive 10 min down the road to get the door code & wifi password from an email! The kitchen was stocked with condiments & coffee & plenty of cookware. Beds were fine, not 5 star but comfortable enough. I would recommend & we may try to come back to this house in the summer!Thank you!"

"The host was very thorough and the house was wonderful. The Wifi was especially helpful as there is limited cell phone service in the area. We truly felt like we were a part of the surrounding nature. Finally, Stratton Mountain was just 20-25 minutes away--great for the ski season!"

"We had a wonderful Christmas week at Northern Quarters with our extended family, ages 5 months to 89 years old. The host was very helpful and accessible. The surroundings were beautiful —especially loved the brook and woods lighted up at night. Beds were comfortable and the houses were equipped with everything we needed to pull off meals for a crowd. The separate houses were perfect for accommodating late nights and early risers. Loved our walks and cross country skiing through the woods. Mt Snow was 10 minutes away for downhill skiing and Wardsboro grocery was just around the corner with a little bit of everything for last minute things. Fabulous spot for family and our dogs! "
