This is my favorite picture from this project. I think this is my favorite because of the beautiful barn art. This barn was the first thing you saw when pulling into this man’s driveway. I found it funny because this isn't something you would usually see when first pulling into someones drive way, but it didn't look out of place in this environment. I think the people of Appalachia are proud of things like this because it is a part of their history, it has character. #appalachianechos

"I was looking for a peaceful woodsy retreat for my son and I while checking out Tweetsie, and this place did not disappoint! The space was clean and super cute. Even though rain prevented use of the firepit, it made for good salamander hunting near the creek out back. Will definitely be back!"

"We rented this property to escape the hot temperatures of Alabama. The property was as advertised and the location was perfect. We did have a minor issue our first day but the problem was resolved very quickly and professionally. Overall this is a great property and I would recommend it for families or a group of couples. "

"We all enjoyed the stay and accommodations! It was perfect for us four guys. The only thing was there was no air conditioning that we could find, so it was a little warm during the day, but cozy at night. The fans mitigated some of the heat though. I would easily stay here again."

"Online description was accurate overall. It does state that the pictures may not depict your actual room but it was similar. We booked a studio which was more than adequate for my husband and I. Location was great, very close to downtown. We arrived in the evening so it was dark, a little confusing to navigate at first not being familiar with the area. Very cute little “village”. "This is the most amazing spot in Blowing Rock to stay the night. It is so charming with a little front porch to relax on and look at the trees changing colors and the topography rising across the street. The gardens are meticulous as are all of the window boxes with flowers. The room is quaint, comfortable, and has all the amenities. The light in the room from the windows is so beautiful. The bathroom is brand new and absolutely large. Every little part of the room and bathroom is unique, not like a "big box" hotel. The staff was so friendly and polite. The marked parking with room number was perfect. I felt very safe and slept very deeply in the beds, comfortably tucked away from any noise but close enough to walk to town. "
