"Upon arrival, you will notice there is no sign for the drive way. There are more signs for fireworks than for the hotel. This caused a lot of confusion with my GPS and an extra trip around the block. Hotel was clean and in good condition. Staff was friendly, I felt safe as a single female traveler. Room was a described. Pillows on the bed were not comfortable. They were square pillows. Bed was comfortable. Pool looked nice though I didn't have a change to use it. Microwave in the room didn't work. Staff replaced it the second I called. Walking distance to some restaurants and Walmart was a 5 min drive."

"Overall, the physical property is excellent. The hotel is incredibly clean, and our third-floor room was great—the AC blew cold, the bed was comfortable, the floor plan was generous, and the bathroom had hot water with decent pressure. (There was a non-functioning thermostat on the wall, but it wasn't a major issue). The front desk staff was also pleasant and professional. However, three things severely impacted the experience: 1. Sneaky Parking Fee: They charge a mandatory daily parking fee that is easily missed when booking. While listed under amenities on the booking site, it isn't included in the prepaid total, making it an annoying surprise at check-in. Charging for an open suburban lot here feels like a greedy nickel-and-dime tactic to lower advertised rates online. 2. Maintenance Issues: Getting ice was a hassle. The machines on floors 2–4 require room keys, and two of them were non-functioning. While tagged "out of order," there were no warnings on the outer doors. Several laundry machines were also broken. 3. Breakfast Atmosphere: The spread was clean and well laid out (eggs, bacon, U-Bake waffles, fresh food). However, the male attendant ruined the environment. He speaks at a shouting volume from the back room, blasted TV shows on his phone, and took speakerphone calls using profanity within earshot of guests. Worse, he treated the Hispanic staff with open contempt. Great housekeeping, but management needs to address transparency and staff behavior."
