The biggest positives are its proximity to plenty of dining options and activities, which made it easy to get around and enjoy the area. Overall, the location is definitely a plus, but the dated condition of the hotel took away from the overall experience."

"We stayed at the Brookside Lodge for a short weekend in the smokies. We were greeted with the sweetest front desk staff and a thank you gift for staying with them. Our room was clean and everything was in working condition. This hotel is within walking distance to most attractions. It was quiet at this location and there is even a trolley stop right in front of the hotel if you’re unable to walk very far. We will be returning to this location on our next trip to the smokies. I would also like to add that out of every location we’ve stayed at in the past this is the only place where the pictures on the site are exactly what you get when you show up. Overall it’s a great location to stay."
