"Breakfast was delicious for being continental. The bear waffles were so cute and fluffy. They offered bacon and sausage which is rare. If you ’re a light sleeper you will have an issue as the hotel is on the main road with the river behind, the car noise csn be loud if they’re revving their engines. Beds could use updating however the room overall was nice for the price, the river balcony was so lovely. Would definitely stay again."

"We stayed at The Appy Lodge last week for our trip to the smoky mountains. The lodge was beautiful with some rustic charm. The staff was warm and courteous and took care of any requests we had immediately. The indoor and outdoor swimming pools added to the stay. The breakfast options made it easy to start the day. The proximity to the mountains and the downtown made the stay even more pleasant and convenient. I totally recommend The Appy Lodge for your vacation to the smoky mountains."
