"The hotel is currently going through refurbishment with freshly decorated rooms and a new fancy restaurant (MPW) being installed. Despite this my room was lovely, spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and in particular the young chap serving breakfast. Apparently the day I checked out was going to be closure for three weeks whilst works continue. "The property was clean, but the quality of bedding and kitchen stuff was just too basic. Absolutely shapeless and thin pillows, all same everywhere, so nothing to choose from. Utensils and plates are fresh from Tesco basic range still with stickers. Pans with anti stick bottoms scratched, which may be a health issue. I know it’s a caravan, and not much aspiration to be expected, but it might be just a tad bit better than a factory canteen."

"A nice modern caravan in a good location, close to town and the beach. It appeared a bit grubby in laces when we arrived so I have the work surfaces and some of the kitchen crockery/ glasses/ cups a rinse with hot soapy water as appeared a bit greasy/ fingerprint marks. Overall a pleasant stay."

"We have just returned from an absolutely fabulous stay at Harkstead Hall. The house is beautiful. Spacious and has absolutely everything you need for a fun stay with friends.
