The property is very nice! It’s located a little off the beaten path so some roads are undeveloped, but it wouldn’t deter me from coming back in the future. Pasqual, the property manager, was welcoming and waited for us to check in at 9pm. Be prepared to hear animal noises at night but overall, it was a pleasant experience!
We loved this property, their staff and the cleanliness. The only problem I see is that it’s too far away from the center in Tulum and the taxis can get really expensive.
Nahouse was an absolute dream nestled in a quiet newer neighborhood. It’s walkable to the nearby eateries in the La Veleta neighborhood. The accommodations are comfortable, very quiet, clean, and super private. The natural pool was the best! Refreshing and enchanting. Perfect for good friends, couples, small families. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful stay here for 4 nights. The grounds keeper and concierge were very accommodating and pleasant. The room was beautiful and clean. They had bottled water hooked up for clean drinking water from the kitchen sink which was a big plus! The only thing i gave 4 stars is for the surrounding construction work, which the hotel cannot help. In a few years, this will no longer be a problem.
It’s a hidden gem, a few minutes away from the trendy neighbourhood of La Veleta. You walk into Nahouse and you feel in the Yucatan jungle, with its own private Cenote and the sound of birds flowing through the trees. The shared garden is beautifully illuminated, perfect for chilling by the fire pit. The cabin has a simple yet stylish decoration that fits perfectly with reits environment. It’s spacious and has a decent kitchen to cook your own meals.
Pascual and Isabela are so nice and super helpful. Thank you for an amazing time in Tulum
I cannot wait to stay here again. The two brothers that tend the property were so nice and helpful. I recommend staying here and renting a scooter so it’s easier to get around. 5 stars
Fabulous place and great staff. The lodge was amazing, as was Pascual and Pia who could'nt have been more helpful. The lodge has a lovely jungle setting but is still within walking distance of the bars and restaurants on Calle 7 Sur (about 10 minutes) and the city centre (about 40 minutes). Would definitely visit again. Highly recommended.
This is an adorable place. Very lush gardens and surroundings. The actual casita is clean and comfortable. It is in a good location but you will need a car as the taxis to downtown and surrounding areas can get expensive. The roads are not paved and a little tricky to drive but w managed. For the price, this was a great place to stay. The natural swimming pool was a big bonus.
The jungle garden is enclosed, so it's a private refuge. There are only 4 individual lodges and they are very comfortable, with a nice kitchen, coffee, tea, salt and pepper, a king sized bed. The staff is very easy to communicate with and very responsive. It was great to stay here. The roads to get here are dirt with big potholes, so you have to plan your route carefully.
Loved the place and the privacy. Very clean and the AC was nice and cold!
Honestly what made our trip was the concierge, Pia. She was wonderful and was able to make so many things happen for us and on short notice. Including getting rides to and from the airport, booking taxis for day trips, getting us bicycles and even motor scooters. Without her our trip would have been more difficult and we are so thankful!
Well wasn't this just a lovely little spot. It was kept very clean and so nicely maintained. We saw the staff up sweeping the porches and building a fire first thing in the morning. Staff was helpful and kind and always available. And really, it is just a beautiful place. Bedding was comfortable. Air conditioning worked well. There was drinking water provided. It had everything we needed.
We loved the location, being away from the beach road which was dreadful to navigate and just outside the main road through town. That was for sure our preferred location.
My only comment would be that the roads to reach the house were a little treacherous so if you're renting a car, maybe go for something with a higher ground clearance.
Love this place. We stayed there 3 1 nights and truly enjoyed the stay there. They have a lovely rocky pool and the cabin is in like in a jungle, very natural and peaceful. It was very quiet (most of the time) and relaxed, swimming in the pool(i feel it's better than cenote lol), sitting there on the deck, and cooking really made me feel very refreshing and relaxed. The location was not very convienient. To the restaurants area it's about 1-2 kilometers. Plus it's dirt road. We had a rented car, we figured out the best way is to buy some grocery and cook, they have a nice kitchen and provides everything needed for cooking a basic meal. The staffs Pascual and Mariano are very helpful and friendly. They made our stay the best as they can. Much appreciated! We loved this place so much and we decided to stay one more night when we came back from Merida. The only downside is i had some bugs bite on my legs, very itchy- not sure whether it was due to the cabin was in a "jungle" like environment. My daughter was fine though. The last night we slept there was someone (maybe from the neighbour) was playing very lound music midnight. Not on the first 3 nights. Regardless of those, I would still give it a 10/10. I would choose to stay here again if I have chance to come back to Tulum. Highly recommended!
