"In liebevoller Umgebung konnten wir wunderbar Ruhe und den Pool geniessen. Vormittags die quirlige Stadt Quito erkunden und am Nachmittag in der Casa Musa entspannen. Eine erholsame Kombination. Elizabeth ist eine tolle Gastgeberin. Sie hat uns mit ihrer offenen und professionellen Art begeistert. Sie hat die richtigen Tips für uns als Familie gegeben und uns einen privaten Taxifahrer organisiert. Vielen Dank für alles. "We experienced an absolutely wonderful one night stay. We wished we could have stayed longer. The staff, amenities, restaurant and accommodation were all exceptional. Jonathan was great in organising transport from the airport and back and showing us around the accommodation. We loved the pool area. As a side note, although situated reasonably close to the airport it does take half an hour to drive. We would highly recommend this accommodation."

LOVED OUR STAY HERE! Very clean, neat, & the staff was absolutely fantastic!! Food was great! Oh the saunas were so so so relaxing. The only reason I checked off the area outside of the property being unsafe is that Ecuador was under marshall law so we did not feel safe outside the hotel. BUT WE FELT TOTALLY SAFE & COMFORTABLE INSIDE!!! Did I mention how friendly the staff were!!!!! Cannot wait to came back!

Hacienda Jimenita Wildlife Reserve

Pifo

10/10 Excellent

This hotel is an old hacienda from 1910 with a cool nature trail. There is a great breakfast provided in lovely dining room with a fire place. The land scape is nicely maintained with pretty flowers and birds all around. We even were feeding llamas with carrots. It is all plesantly surprising finding for the hotel within 15 min from the airport. The advice: take the transportation arranged by the hotel for a reasonable fee. They will even meet you in the airport. Do not be put off by the...

Everything about the stay was perfect. The facility looked brand new, and the staff were exceptionally helpful, often going above and beyond their responsibilities. The location is extremely convenient, taking less than 8 minutes to reach the airport at any time of day. Please note that there is no direct access to the hotel from the highway, which made my first arrival a bit confusing. However, once familiarized with the area, getting to the property is very easy. For future guests, I...

Two NOTES - Uber Quito does NOT know the location of this place and will take you somewhere 40 minutes away, in Quito park instead. And... the entrance of this place is a big steel door that slides open when you get out and push the call button. REVIEW - My son and I were flying out of Quito and needed a place to stay the night before our flight. Unfortunately, we got super sick from something we ate in the Galapagos the day before and could barely function when we arrived at Quito Airport...

Hotel Alpachaca

Tababela

10/10 Excellent

We had to evacuate Quito emergently during the 2020 coronavirus pandemic. Unable to get a flight that night, we purchased nights at the Hotel Alpachaca for $20 / night / room. Turning onto the dirt road, we were nervous. Happily, the hotel was well built, clean, and staffed by friendly people. The next morning they served us a breakfast of bread and cheese sandwiches, cooked-to-order eggs, and tea or instant coffee. We tried to pay the $2.50 per person breakfast charge, and they refused to...

The hotel makes a nice stay over when transiting via Quito to the Galapagos or other destination in Ecuador. Staff and service were great, very welcoming and helpful. We ate dinner in the Botanica Restaurant and found the service and quality excellent (try the Tempura Shrimp entree). The heated book was very welcome and while we did not have time to use it, the fitness center was large with a great selection of modern equipment. The Executive Lounge was nice with a protected outdoor sitting...
