"We had a lovely stay at Slaley Hall. The bedroom was very clean and a good size , as was the bathroom and the bed was very comfortable. The evening meal was very good and we had a choice of restaurant or bar. The pool and surrounding area was excellent, loungers, sauna, even an area for drinks The breakfast was also very nice, with a good choice. A beautiful Hotel and a fantastic stay. "

"Stayed for one night while walking Hadrians Wall. Everything was great. The communal areas seem to have been recently refurbished. The room was clean and comfortable."

"Lovely location in town right next to other pubs and restaurants. Staff were excellent and the pub was really clean and tidy. We took a trip around the various pubs which was friendly and fun. Highly recommend."
