"We absolutely loved everything about this apartment. The location is extremely convenient and the city views from inside the apartment (especially the view of the church) was beautiful. A lot of space for our family to stretch out , we traveled with two teenage girls and it was nice for them to each have their own bedroom. "At the time of our booking the listing clearly stated in multiple places that there was a hot tub at the residence. There was not. They were trying to pass off a bath tub as a hot tub? The property manager argued with me briefly but ultimately did let me break our reservation with a 100% refund. I would not suggest this location during the summer, we came during a heat wave and there was no AC and some of the fans in the residence did not work"

"We loved our 2 nights here. While we chose the location for its proximity to Lucerne, Sarnen was a delightful surprise. The walking path into town was a fave and we enjoyed exploring. The apartment was well-equipped, including tons of pantry items and our host even offered us produce from his beautiful garden! There was lake access from the garden and we enjoyed a chilly dip in the lake! Host lives at the property and was easy to communicate with. Overall, highly recommend!"
