"I had an incedent where I felt I was in danger because another tenant that was there during my stay was up all night and in the morning he left the front door completly open. I called the contact number I had and no one would call me back until some text me and then met me at the property and all she could say is that some people are careless to leave the front to ulocked and wide open plus they made a mess in the room they left and I felt that they would just let anyone stay which creates...

"Decent place for the location and the price. Don’t book if you are a light sleeper as the rooms are not sound proof in any way you will hear the other guests walk in late people having conversations outside like there isn’t even a wall. Room was clean and had a nice kitchen. Though the host gave me a ring of three keys and didn’t even bother to show me how to open the room and main door which proved to be difficult."

Hotel Riu Plaza España

10/10 Excellent

"Everything from staff, room to breakfast was excellent"

Urban Hive Madrid

10/10 Excellent

"Incredibly satisfied with our stay at Urban Hive. Isabella at the front desk was so amazing, so accommodating, helpful, and just a wonderful person. The location was great, a couple blocks from Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace, San Miguel market, and other major sites. The room was super clean and well equipped. Our balcony view was beautiful. Did not use the downstairs bar/restaurant but it looked very cool. Would definitely stay again if back in Madrid."

Hotel Principe Pio

10/10 Excellent

"Hotel was wonderful. Great location, excellent staff, best breakfast we've ever had in a hotel. Pro's: -Get the breakfast. Best deal, lots of variety. Fresh fruit, baked goods, eggs, bacon, cold meat, cereal, pancakes, 6 different types of milk (who knew there were that many) coffee, tea, etc... and a nice, spacious dining area. Staff were excellent. Great value! -Excellent location, close to Royal Palace, 20 minute walk to downtown area, 5 minute walk to subway (metro), 5 minute walk to shopping and dining establishments -Charming sitting area just off the lobby if you want to sit and enjoy a beverage -Excellent staff -Rooms were clean and comfortable -Had dinner one night in the dining area. Food was good and reasonably priced. No complaints Cons: -Shower was difficult to understand how it worked but we managed -Only Spanish channels on TV, no Netflix, Youtube or other channels. I like to watch news from home (Canada) on Youtube at the the end of our day to keep up on things. Had to use our phones which was an inconvenience -Could hear other patrons in the hall when we were asleep late at night All in all I would recommend this hotel to others and I would stay here again if in Madrid. We liked it."

Nômade Temple Madrid

8/10 Good

"Location was busy but nice to be in the center of things. Loved the decor. AC worked well. Despite being a smaller room, felt spacious enough to move around even with 2 people. Had an issue with the front desk staff. When I checked in, there was an open bottle of water that had already been used. I called to get new bottles which were promptly brought to me. But then 15 min later I received a call to tell me I was wrong and that the bottle normally looks that way. I know what a used bottle of water looks like and my boyfriend had seen it too. Why would the staff feel it’s necessary to call and be so insulting to insinuate I couldn’t tell the difference? You gave me my bottle, move on. Left a bad taste in my mouth for the whole trip. Will not be returning if that’s the way you treat your guests. Unfortunate because I’m planning another trip soon and otherwise was looking forward to staying there again."
