"The room was clean and the facility was very clean. The hotel is dark and the room is dark. Compared to hotels that allow sunlight in and hotels that are painted with lighter colors. They clean your room once every 3 days. So we were constantly requesting towels and face cloths. Check in was super busy and there was someone trying to help you do self check in….but for us it was unsuccessful. The hotel is in a great area. Everything closes around 9-10am. Could use some other choices for TV stations. Mostly news and Weather channels. Overall nice. But could be better."

"The location of the hotel was perfect. The view of the castle from our room was breathtaking. The hotel was the staff could not have been nicer. We had breakfast (buffet) - it was delish. I would recommend upgrading to a room with a castle view - it is 100% worth it. Looking forward to going back to Scotland - will absolutely stay at this location again."

"The location was great for getting into downtown Edinburgh by bus. Very Easy pick up and drop off out front. Parking can be an issue. Limited space on property but then you can pay to park in zoo parking lot, or keep moving your car as spots open up. Inquire more for parking. Also please be aware there are no wash cloths in Scotland or Ireland. Not even at a Holiday Inn. We went and bought one at a beauty/pharmacy store."
