"The room was exactly as pictured. Fantastic location- about a 15 minutes walk from train station and close to Domtower. Luckily weather was around 20C as room seemed to get hot and we could cool it with opening an outside door. We could not figure out how to set thermostat but didn’t ask for help. We faced back into courtyard. The church bells ring every 15 minutes with a longer ring on the hour- the bells a heard throughout the area. It had a restaurant that we didn’t try - we heard it was good from a local. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We arrived about 1 pm and we were given an early checkin as room was ready- very appreciated after an overnight flight."

"This was a great home-base for our short stay in Utrecht. It’s close to the train station (pro tip: you can cut through the mall instead of walking all the way around the block!), and we had the most amazing meal ever at SMAAK, which is conveniently situated in the alleyway directly behind the hotel. There’s a Starbucks right next door and a grocery store nearby, and it’s within walking distance of the canal district with all its shops and restaurants, and there’s a bike rental shop close by as well. The room itself was clean and they had washcloths in the bathroom (the only hotel of the three we stayed in on our trip to the Netherlands who offered them), and the front desk was happy to hold our luggage for us on our arrival and departure days when we had some additional exploring to do. In addition, the breakfast was top-notch. Would definitely stay here again."
