"It's a beautiful property that is well laid out. It's close to the river and has easy access for swimming and fishing. The home we stayed in had lots of seating for meals, two refrigerators, and a huge kitchen, so feeding 15 people was a breeze. There is a nice porch with a picnic table and some adirondack chairs from which you can hear the river. Very peaceful. Of course, we were there in December, so off season, but still very nice. The only thing that would make it better would be hand towels...

"The RIV is a fantastic place to stay, and we will be doing it again. The staff was crazy responsive, the lodge was amazing, and the amenities even in the weather were great. If you haven't been to the Texas Hill Country, this is a great place to come and enjoy it. "
