"Fist night, bathroom water slow flush. Maintenance had to be called, barely spoke English. Pumped and snake and said was toilet paper, which is not possible cause we were barely in the room for a couple hours after check in and toilet paper are generic thin ones. After one night, my husband had bite marks on his neck and shoulders. It’s either bed bugs or dog fleas. We request to change rooms Friday. When checked out Sunday I had bites on my arms and legs. The property outside and in hallway had strong smell of weed. Doors to hallways, one side don’t even close, it’s left open. The other side, the key scanner don’t even work and the doors don’t even lock. Anyone can walk in. The room floors are dirty, we could tell cause we wore white socks and was dirty after. We extended an extra night and instead of giving comp due to all the issues, they gave only a $40 discount, still had to pay $130 for the living conditions. Morning of check out, we know we check out at 11, but 10 housekeeping knocked and asked if we leaving."

"For some reason there was knocking all night long. Around 230am, it got even louder for about an hour. It sounded like shoes tumbling in a dryer. I couldnt sleep much but the room over all was great "

"I booked three rooms for two days for the family (we were staying here for a funeral) and one of the rooms had roaches and flying gnats. I also took photos and video footage of this awful, God forsaken, deplorable room. Roaches were on the nightstand by the phone, the bathroom mirror, and under the bathroom sink crawling along the baseboard. I’ve stayed here before several times over the past four years and I have never experienced roaches or gnats in the guest rooms. I’ve stayed for the convenience and the rooms used to be decent enough for a quick overnight stay. The manager ended up refunding me a one nights stay but going forward, I will no longer stay here. When comparing the guest rooms at this specific Hampton Inn to other hotels on the same caliber/level, the rooms at this location are quite dated and could definitely use some refurbishing and upgrades, so it’s not surprising that pests would be attracted to this kind of environment. The carpet is extremely old, worn, and needs to be pulled up, the towels are dingy and have stains on them, the window shades are not working optimally, and the elevators have various odd smells that definitely are not fresh. I’m a Marriott BonVoy member, so I will just go back to them because the rooms and the guest experience are always top notch. "
