"Beautiful, brand new studio apartment that looks exactly like the photos. The complex, Village at Montclair, is also impressive: it's newly built, upscale, and includes a pool, gym, lounges, and nicely designed outdoor spaces. The unit was quiet. The host was responsive by message and kindly offered early check in. The location worked well for us, about a 30 minute walk or a 5 minute drive to Claremont.Unfortunately, the check in process was frustrating. The address provided on the VRBO app led to an empty lot, and once we found it, we couldn’t access the building because entry instructions hadn’t been sent. Phone calls went unanswered, and we were asked for additional personal information before access was provided. We ended up waiting about 45 minutes to get in.There were also a few issues: the key fob stopped working (which was addressed quickly), only one wash cloth and hand towel was provided for two people, and the lockbox location made re-entry awkward. The request to remove shoes felt unnecessary, especially since the flooring is synthetic wood and there’s no carpet.Overall, a beautiful unit in a great new complex, but the access process and logistics need improvement."

"Perfect location for our visit. Very close to the Claremont colleges. Super clean and a brand new facility. We used the pool and hot tub and the workout room, all lovely and in excellent condition. We will definitely stay here again!"

It’s close to everything you need, but still quiet enough to enjoy some downtime. The unit itself is great—it has everything you need to feel comfortable and at home, whether you’re staying for a short trip or a longer visit. Everything was clean, well-kept, and thoughtfully set up.What really made the experience even better were the hosts. They’re genuinely kind, good people who make you feel welcome and taken care of without being overbearing. That kind of hospitality goes a long way.Overall, this place exceeded our expectations. "Property wasn’t really that clean and it smelled like a wet dog. Found an old press in nail and earring in the living room floor, Back patio area was littered with trashed and a landfill of dog poop, very unacceptable and unprofessional.Towels and wash clothes looked more like old version that would be used to clean the house than to have for guest use. There was lack of cooking utensils had to go out and buy our own. Property was advertised as 6 guests but only provided 5 towels. The upstairs neighbors have little kids and is very loud late night and early morning with heavy running through thin ceiling. The neighborhood isn’t the greatest and a bit seedy but didn’t have any issues or conflicts. Overall it is not worth the prices, especially when so much money is allocated towards cleaning fee and it doesn’t appear to be utilized properly."
