"This property is beautiful. Rural. The people are really wonderful. Gated country house. The room was simple but very nice. Two or three seating areas inside and outside well appointed. Mattress and linens extremely comfortable. Great sleep until - roosters and cowbells(? lol) Pool area was great and the patio area is lovely. It’s very peaceful and quiet and after Palermo was wonderfully refreshing. You can walk around the farm/gardens. We had the 4 course dinner with local wine and it was very good. Authentic Italian cooking, served in a beautiful room overlooking garden. Soft piano music. And nice not to have to fight crowds. I really recommend this hotel & the dinner. "

La posizione è al top, parcheggiata la macchina accanto al b&b, è semplicissimo raggiungere il centro storico. "We loved this property. Located in the beautiful countryside of Pergusa, La Casa del Poeta is a great place to unwind after a day of site seeing. It is centrally located between Enna and Piazza del Romano and only an hour from Agrigento and the Valley of Temples. The host, Guiliana, was wonderful sharing information about the area and providing recommendations for food, sights and travel. The breakfast is included with lots of options to choose from. We will definitely be staying here again and highly recommend it. "

"The pictures on the website look very welcoming and clean. In person this room was pretty much the crappiest stay of my life. The bed was so incredibly uncomfortable. the sheets were hopefully clean but the blanket had a white substance on it. The room smelled so bad of dust and chemicals it burned my nose all night and I was Ike up with a horrible headache that I can’t get rid of. The room was renovated 8 years ago but it is not kept up… definitely not cleaned properly for a nightly rental. The shower head falls- so you have to hold it while you shower. The jetted tub takes at least an hour to fill and then sprays water all over the room and smells like sewer when you turn it on. ripped towels, mold in the shower. No screens on the windows so you can’t air the room out…. I’ve never written a review in a room before but this one was so deceiving I felt obligated. "
