"This property was in a very convenient location to everything….restaurants, shops, the Boardwalk. There was plenty of room to spread out and relax. The pool was delightful. There were a few things about the villa itself that kept us from giving it a 5 star review overall, but we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here."

"Modern luxurious spacious villa that provided the perfect base for an amazing stay in Salema. It had a fantastic pool which we all enjoyed and is just a short walk to the beach and restaurants. It has a bonus cinema style basement if fancy a movie night. All bedrooms en suite with full blackout shutters. We were greeted by Tina and Sean who were informative and helpful. It was a nice touch to receive a welcome food and drink basket with essentials. Would definitely recommend!!"

"This is a nice option for a family staying in Carvoeiro. Check in was no problem. Everything worked fine. There are some ocean views from the balcony and the pool was nice. The location is great. It did feel like no one had been there in a long time when we arrived, and we spent some time sweeping off the back porch and removing cobwebs. The home has an older look and feel. But all things considered we had a nice stay. The AC in the bedrooms was also great to have."

"Agent not helpful, in any way, House tired and dirty. More suited to an older couple. No information pack in house, wrong wifi info given. We cleaned for 4 hours on arrival as house was dirty. Kitchen almost un-useable. Microwave rusty, cooker had only one shelve. All sides and tiles covered in cooking oil. chairs in dinning area filthy dirty. Fire places marks all over it. All bathrooms smelt horrid and two of the bathrooms had mold. The shutters on the property have never been...

"The villa is beautiful and well maintained with all the amenities you could need. Lovely outdoor area with decent sized pool with sun all day. A short walk down to the beach with a variety of cafes, bars and restaurants. Great communication with the hosts before and during our stay. We will be returning again soon. "We absolutely loved our stay in the villa! Most beautiful grounds and pool. We really enjoyed dining outside and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could need. Very clean, beds really comfortable, good a/c and plenty of space for my family of 6 including 2 teenagers. The property manager Carolina is extremely nice and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Very short walk to O Rústico where we had a very pleasant lunch and a dinner. "Our stay at Casa da Luz was perfect! Everything was so clean and when we got there it exceeded our expectations. The pictures do not do the views or villa justice, it’s just breathtaking. Perfect location, it was quiet and away from the busier areas but just a short walk into the town of Praia da Luz and a short car ride into Lagos. "Overall the property and location were good. However, the villa would benefit from some "routine maintenance" which would have given it 5 stars from us. When we arrived, the dishwasher didn't work. We reported it and 3 days later, they took the old one away and left us with nothing for the rest of our stay. When we used the sink to hand wash the dishes, it leaked dirty water all over the kitchen floor due to poor plumbing. One of the air conditioning units needed maintenance as it sprayed ice...
