"Great stay just a 3 minute walk to and from the Venice train station (which you will appreciate especially with bags). Venice has a lot of stairs but this hotel is right before them. They are very strict with their 2 pm check-in but you can leave your bags for free in the lobby. The breakfast was great and it's in perfect location with restaurants and bars. "

"Still good location even though you will need to take the vaporetto (boat bus) or people mover (tram) to get to venice centre. No restaurant around the area and decent mercato, so if you like having snacks or drinks. Please buy them at the city centre and take them in to your room. The hotel offers somes snack but very limited choices. "

"Hotel Abbazia was a gem—super conveniently located to public transportation (railway station and Piazzale Roma) and the Grand Canal but set back on a quiet side street. The staff was extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful. Room was great—comfortable bed, effective AC, reasonably priced."
