Second-the bathtub wall is very high and getting in for a shower or bath will be difficult for some. "The Ortigia Charme Hotel is a well located hotel on the eastern coast of Ortigia island. Being situated at almost the mid point of the island it is perfectly situated for a leisurely exploration of the area. It looks like a small hotel from the outside but I think it has rooms in adjacent buildings. The staff are very friendly and cheerful at all times of the day. The breakfast is excellent with no problem ordering items not specifically listed on the menu. My only quibble is that the solid floors transmit noise from the room above. "
