"The lobby and room was clean. It was nice to be right on the Lake. We wanted to have our morning coffee outside to enjoy the lake view but the patio, tables and chairs were overwhelmingly covered with bird feathers and droppings. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned up in quite some time. I can't imagine anyone eating out there, it was very unsanitary. The push button on the LED bathroom mirror did not work at all. It was very dim and we could not increase the brightness with either the button or the wall switch. At check in we asked if we could upgrade to a room with a lake view as they didn't seem to be booked out, but the desk clerk didn't seem to be very helpful or friendly so we just gave up on the idea. There is no breakfast buffet, which would have been nice instead of just a coffee station. Overall it was a pleasant experience, but would probably look for other accommodations if we decide to visit the area again."

"Great location. Very roomy and great location. I would definitely recommend. Only issue we had were finding the light switches. lol. The main bathroom switch was finicky. Other than that it was very nice. I highly recommend staying there. The location was minutes from everything without having the town crowd. Felt extremely safe and peaceful. The parking was great. We could park 6 vehicle in the paved driveway if we would’ve needed to. The bed I slept in was very comfortable. The sheets and comforter were very nice. Ample room for eating at the bar/table that has seating on both sides. Thank you for allowing us to share your home."

"Property was amazing!! Loved everything about the house. The well stocked kitchen, the beautiful lake and sunset views, sitting on the dock in the Adirondack chairs and hanging in the hot tub. From the welcome wine and chocolate to the slippers and robes and coffee pots in the bedrooms the owners treat their guests like family! It’s a 5 star rental, and I’ve been to many!!"

"Truly enjoyed our stay at Riverside Retreat! Property was private but short drive to Geneva, local wineries and Seneca Lake state park. Kids and dogs loved the yard to run. Property is right on the river. Watched the boats go by and fished right off the dock. Host was very responsive and easy to get in touch with. Would highly recommend !"

"Nice house in a good location. Scenic, elevated view of Seneca Lake from the deck is a highlight. Host Lucas is very pleasant and communicated professionally. A very quiet area during our stay. Close to the Visitors Center area for walking along Seneca Lake, Ten minutes to Sauder's, a great supermarket. Also, very close to downtown Geneva for restaurants and a good base for visiting FLX wineries. Boundary Breaks is a top winery and offers beautiful sunset views. HVAC system worked well and was easy to use. The washer/dryer was a nice convenience."

"We would recommend this property highly! All were delighted by the house, the view and the location. It was all a smooth easy transaction and we didn’t need to call about anything. It was a well stocked house with things like steamers, hair dryers, irons ect. Everyone enjoyed the Finger Lakes and this property was a big part of the experience!"

"We enjoyed our stay here! The house was very nice and clean. The fenced in area was the right size for our dogs to romp around in. The host was very helpful and always responded quickly. It is a convenient place to stay to enjoy the nearby lakes. It has a country feel to it with a beautiful star filled sky at night, yet very close to quaint little towns and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!"

"What a wonderful retreat! The hosts are warm and wonderful. The beds are very comfortable and you really can't beat the hot tub and water slide. Live music on the weekends in the summer is a blast, and its fun to watch the boats go by in the river on their way to the lake. The boat is docked in a working marina, with a lot of boat traffic, so that's just something to keep in mind. But my family had a blast sliding off into the river and living the boat life :) Highly recommend and we can't wait to hopefully return!!"
