I use to stay here often and still my go to hotel in Zona Central. It’s a bit worn, but everything works. The city center in undergoing much construction. Many streets closed. It’s an ongoing city project. The guy who works evenings is very friendly. The day girl on Sunday could use an attitude adjustment. Other that that quiet, ac is cold, internet good and plenty of hot water.

Great but desperately needs upgrades

The staff was very kind and friendly. Upfront the hotel looks great. And the breakfast is also wonderful. But the rooms need a lot of work mostly the bathrooms and sinks. They are very rusted and old. Our sink and shower would not drain.

Muy mala experiencia con EXPEDIA y el hotel reservado en Veracruz. Llegué a Veracruz el 9 de mayo con mis papás, ambos adultos mayores; mi mamá recién operada de la rodilla y en silla de ruedas. Al hacer la reservación nadie me informó que el centro de Veracruz estaba en remodelación, lo cual hacía imposible acceder en silla de ruedas. Además, el hotel no contaba con el servicio de estacionamiento que prometen en su publicación. Le expliqué la situación al recepcionista y su única respuesta fue: “Véalo con Expedia, nosotros no podemos hacer nada.” Llamé a Expedia, me contestaron en inglés y me indicaron que presentara una reclamación. Lo hice, y tres días después me dijeron que no procedía. Tanto Expedia como el hotel se lavaron las manos. El hotel argumentó que el municipio no les avisó y que no me iban a regresar ni un solo peso. Al final, tuve que salir con mi mamá en silla de ruedas a buscar un nuevo hotel por mi cuenta, porque el que había reservado simplemente no era accesible, y no hubo ningún tipo de empatía o ayuda de parte de nadie. ⚠️ No reserven con Expedia y mucho menos en este hotel. Si pueden, compartan esta historia para que a nadie más le pase lo mismo.

Se que quizá es algo de temporalidad el exceso de ruido por una construcción que están haciendo en las avenidas/calles cercanas, pero aún así, el ruido exterior es notable, si deseas dormir hasta tarde, no es la mejor opción o quiza por que mi habitación daba a la calle.

La atención es muy buena, la ubicación inmejorable, la habitación es pequeña pero para alguien como yo que sólo le interesa llegar a dormir está bien. El detalle es que la cama la sentí algo chica a lo que normalmente sería y lo que sí deben de cambiar son las cortinas, están instaladas unas translúcidas que, cuando amanece, no permite dejar dormir ya que entra de lleno la luz del sol.

La atención del personal es amable, en ningun momento dan mal trato, la habitacion de una cama si es pequeña pero es lo suficientemente necesario para descansar, el baño es amplio. La recomendación que les daria es solicitar el sevicio de limpieza, fueron atentos al dar las amenidades de la habitación, pero se les olvido decirme si pasaban a hacer aseo. Todo esta super cerca y hay varios lugares para comer, me gustó mucho.
