"Excellent helpful thoughtful enthusiastic staff. Large property, really professionally well-run, with direct acess to the beach. Many pools. Good food. Dinner and drinks at sunset. Consistently superb, friendly customer service — they seem genuinely happy to see you. Pleasant relaxing stay. Virtually no need to leave the resort."
"It was a great vacation for our family. We really enjoyed the location, water slides, and multiple pools. We had a family suite with a private pool and it was great to swim at anytime. The al carte restaurants were outstanding. We didn't have high expectations for buffet style meals but they were great as well. The only suggestion would be glass for quests to take away from the bar. I understand the need to protect the pool surfaces so this probably isn't possible, but had to provide something as a critique. Great experience and beautiful property. The staff was very friendly and helpful."
"Our second time dating at Cretan Dream and it won’t be the last as we plan on coming again in 2027. The amenities, atmosphere, and attention to detail are bar none to any accommodations we have experienced in Europe.
Spyro and the front desk staff were incredible. Toula and her sweet husband anticipated our needs and made sure we were always “in the know” for meal service and events.
Cretan Dream also provides several weekly experience nights including: tomahawk steaks, Cretan night with music and dancing, and a seafood feast.
Bravo to Petro and his brother for an incredible establishment.
Can’t wait until 2027!"
"I stayed in one of the suites on the beach which went above and beyond my expectations. However, my last day was ruined as despite there being noone booked into my room on the day I left they would not let me keep my room on unless I paid a ridiculous sum of money, instead offering me a different room for the day, which defeated the object. Why clean two rooms when you could just clean one?
I chose not to change rooms as it was pointless and they said they had a room which guests could use to have a shower, get changed and pack but this turned out to be a public toilet with 3 shower cubicles. To be honest I was disgusted and the only saving grace was that I was in there alone."
"The breakfast everyday was delicious and very fresh! Fresh OJ every morning on the beach can't be beat. Always plenty of food with great choices. The service is top notch - for breakfast and the rest of the day. We got lunch on the beach one day and that was delicious too! And the gelato (although the scoops were a little small). The front desk (Sophia) was so helpful and friendly. They did everything they could to make our stay wonderful. The hotel is right on a beautiful beach with plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas. The jacuzzi on our patio was great, but not quite hot enough. They could not make it warmer, but did put a solar cover on it. That didn't help much though because it wasn't too hot while we were there. Not sure if i would pay for that upgrade again. But, would not hesitate to stay here again. We loved it! "
