Hotel Bungalows Arena Dorada - Adults Only

"My travel planning usually pays off, but Bungalow's in the Zihuataneo/Ixtapa area was a HUGE exception. As a Google Local Guide, I know to verify a hotel room or short-term rental in person before payment. What I found? A disgusting, moldy room, nothing like the online photos. The kitchen was unsanitary. Then came the cancellation nightmare – hours of calls, transfers, and zero resolution. I've posted photos and videos on their Google Maps profile. Save yourself the trouble and book elsewhere. And seriously, think twice before using the booking platform. #zihuatanejo #travelreview #badhotel #traveltips"

"Had the best trip with our family (6 adults: 3 'kids' 1 spouse and two parents) celebrating 65th bday milestone. Lots of room for everyone to have their space plus a wonderful communal outdoor living space. and big kitchen. "

Great Apartment

"Apartment was as described, incredible views, great location (though it is a bit isolated, so rental car or taxi use is generally required). Claire had a very nice welcome basket waiting for me (fruit, wine, cookies and chips, with cold beers in the refrigerator) and unit was very clean. Great experience. "
