"We loved the historic nature of the hotel and its proximity to everything we wanted to see in Richmond. Staff was very friendly and Annabelle the cat was a hit with my daughter. I wanted to love everything about the experience but the condition of the hotel was a bit disappointing. There were unpatched holes in the walls and dirty/uneven wallpaper in the room. There were also several areas of the hotel that showed signs of work in progress with plywood propped on walls and a ceiling panel lying on the floor. The guest chair in our room was broken and unsafe to sit in. We would love to try staying here in the future but I hope they give some much needed TLC to the rooms and space. "

"It was extremely run down and ghetto. Loud music blasting next door at 2 am. Room was dirty, water damage on walls and ceilings and just down right nasty. Only plus side was the kid at the front desk was very nice."

"Fantastic stay. The house was clean and well equipped, check in and out was easy and well communicated, and the location worked great for us. We were in town for a conference at the greater Richmond convention center and enjoyed scootering about 10 minutes to the conference each morning. The hosts were very communicative and kept a very nice house. Would recommend highly!"
