"The Gold Star is a good place for one night. Is not the greatest but for the price of $110.00 it’s not that bad. The bedding and towels looks like it’s years old and dingy. You may want to bring your own. The tub is actually a sono and quite high to get into. This is an old hotel and in need of some serious upgrades. "The hotel is in the midst of renovations. The outside is in need of repair, but the rooms and common areas are clean and updated. The deck could use some paint, etc., but the view is fabulous and the seating is comfortable. The pool was clean - hot tub was not working. Front desk staff was courteous and pleasant.
