"The staff are so friendly and helpful! From the front desk, to the breakfast staff, housekeeping and laundry service, all were exceptional! The hotel has a lovely breakfast everyday with a wide variety of both hot and cold options, many of which are locally sourced. The evening patio dining and bar overlooked the ocean and although the menu was not as expansive, there were quite a lot of beverage options. The room we had was one of the suites, and met all of our needs. The housekeeping staff kept us well supplied with all amenities. The spa was wonderful as well. I enjoyed my 20% discount on my massage which was very enjoyable. Overall a very nice stay! "

"In general great place to stay with small children, great facilities, fun events for children. Swimming pools are anyone can desire, outside, inside non heated, inside heated. If one wants beach that is also available, sandy strip is just 500m away to the side if necessary. Staff is really polite and helpful, buffet all inclusive food is not boring and selection can satisfy most i am sure. Rooms are clean and on top of that they are cleaned every day, new towels, fresh floor. Absolutely recomended, this was our favourite when compare to similar price Mallorca or Sardinia resorts that we have visited before."

"The hotel is right on the beach with beautiful view. They offered an inclusive breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet. It was a large buffet but not a high quality food. We liked the variety of entertainment every night they offered. "

"Lovely boutique hotel in the centre of Rethymno. We stayed in the loggia suite (one bed plus a living room with sofa bed, two bathrooms). Very tastefully decorated, great bathroom(s) really good powerful shower and the property felt well maintained and cared for. Very good complimentary breakfast. The only negatives or points for improvement (these seem rather nit picky): 1. The bathroom had an amazing shower and a fancy weighing scale (who would want that with all the great food so close by?!) yet had one of those horrible hotel hairdryers that you have to hold down the button to keep it switched on making it hard to style hair. Felt that this was a disappointment given the spec of the room. 2. Parking is free in the four martyrs car park -but you're not guaranteed a space. We arrived in Rethymno at 1pm on a Monday, wanting to have lunch and visit the town a bit before checking in. We were very lucky to get a space (and almost gave up)! It would be nice if the hotel could work an arrangement with the car park to reserve spaces for guests - especially since the hotel contacted us in advance re parking etc and this is the closest car park to the hotel for transporting luggage. I would be willing to pay a nominal fee of 10 euros to have a guaranteed space for 24 hrs / be able to come and go to visit the surrounding countryside. 3. Breakfast was great yet the fruit juice was very watery - again more of a let down based on how good everything else was!"

"The colleagues at this property and the sister hotel were amazing. Friendly and efficient. Great clean rooms. Autograph restaurant and buffet very good. Lovely walks along beach and easy to use public transport options. Good challenging walks from resort. End of season and all hotels and most bars starting to close."
