Had a single day off from work, decided I could make it work to catch a ferry, bike into this lighthouse, and then set up an alarm to wake up at midnight to point the camera towards the sky and hope for the best. The city lights added a purple tint to things and I decided to roll with it, dog tired when I rolled into work, but thank god for the espresso machine.

"Very local to the Airport, about 6 minute drive. Buses to the CBD and back literally stop outside. Very handy for the Weta workshop.Zelda was very communicative, and is slowly renovating the property, however don’t let that put you off.Our biggest complaint was the beds were a bit soft for our taste. Right on edge of Wellington centre with just a 10 minute walk to shops/bars/restaurants. Only 2 minute walk to Tinakori village. We couldn't have wished for anything better. "

"Brought some friends visiting from the UK to Wellington.Wanted somewhere that was in walking distance of all the tourist locations.This was the perfect spot. No transport required for the whole stay.The accommodation was also perfect for everyone to spread out and find their own space to relax. Had everything we needed to make the stay easy.Rhys was also great at keeping in touch and answering any queries."
