"The staff are very friendly, the rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast cooked options are delicious. The George is very homely and welcoming. This is my preferred hotel when visiting the Oxford/Reading area. There are a couple of pleasant walking trails along The Thames nearby."

"The beds were on the firm side but pretty comfy. We did have issues connecting to the WiFi and there is not a customer service number for after hours. I was able to email but since I didn’t have WiFi it was very spotty and they gave me a generic “did you try to reset the modem.” Otherwise it’s a cute apartment, very quiet neighborhood. Just a walk up the street is some good pizza places and a grocery store. Water pressure was excellent and I appreciated the deep tub. "
