"No Parking close by to drop off luggage. Treacherous, steep downhill path through a park to take several heavy suitcases. Incredibly poor communication from the property, who in the first instance did not respond for over a week to our request for an early check in. e repeatedly asked host for check in details,and we eventually got them on the day of check in only 15 minutes before scheduled (normal) check in time, at which time we were already at the weddding of my daughter, having travelled...

"Bellflower Cottage was perfect for a NYE weekend getaway - very warm (we had to turn the heating down!), clean, well equipped (although we had to ask for loo roll and dishwasher tabs), beautifully decorated and so peaceful. The quintessential English country cottage! Gorgeous walks from the door and lovely outside space (which only the dog took advantage of as the weather was so wet!) The whole history of the land and property are documented from 1245 both in book form and on the walls of the entrance porch. Filled with original beams and woodwork, inglenook fireplaces and furnished to compliment the age of the building but with modern day living taken into account. An amazing bedroom with vaulted ceiling and modern en-suite bathroom. A lovely kitchen...
