"We loved our first experience at a B&B. The whole B&B was clean, warm, and inviting. Chris and Jess were great hosts. Breakfast was wonderful and the complimentary wine tasting was fabulous. We loved the proximity to Nubs Nob and Boyne Highlands."

"Perfect for our needs. My 6 year old daughter and I stayed in the Petite Pearl room two nights while skiing. It was nice and quiet and breakfast was delicious! The hosts were very accommodating."

"John & Linda were wonderful hosts, informative, friendly and provided a great breakfast. The location was convenient to everything we wanted to do and see. The TV had an HDMI input so I was able to access all my local channels, through my computer. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was updated and very function-friendly. One more wastebasket, in the main room, would be a good idea (I had to provide at least one point to improve.) Overall, a terrific experience and we definitely would go back...

"Beautiful old house in a beautiful neighborhood very close to the lake and downtown. Louisa was our hostess. She was very friendly and helpful even ran to the Grey Gables restaurant next door to make our dinner reservation for us. We had the room off the living area so there was a little noise when the restaurant patrons left for the evening but it was very brief and no trouble at all. The huge King bed was perfectly pillow like for me, albeit a bit too soft for my husband, but no mattress will...

"I came in for a wedding, the bed in the zinnia room was firm but comfortable. Plenty of pillows. Had a ceiling fan which I always sleep with, cookies down stairs. Bathroom was big and clean with a makeup removal towel. Hot water and great water pressure. Host made a great breakfast and the bacon was my favorite. Quiet and private. Much better and safer than a hotel. Very friendly, comfortable and clean. Definitely will be coming back."

"Very quiet and great staff. Clean inside, deck in need of repair and weeds. Bummed we didnt get to try the wines since it closed at 8pm. We would stay again and the dog friendly is important to us."

"This was a perfect location for our weekend getaway with two other families with young kids. The house had even more beds than advertised and the layout of the house was great for adults and kids to have their own space. Tons of kids toys and games stocked which was an unexpected perk! Only con I can think of is there is a picture of a keurig so we brought our kcups but it turns out there is only a regular coffee pot. Not a biggie cause it’s only 10 minutes from meijer."

"Weekend trip with my daughter. We loved the downtown location and could walk to shops and restaurants. The house had such charm and we got a kick out of seeing the house we were in on the front cover of several mushroom house books in the local stores."
