"While we did eat breakfast and it was wonderful the rest of the place was poorly remodeled had an odor and some of the staff not so friendly. It is next to the train station and you can hear and feel it when passing under the hotel"

"This hotel was warm and inviting. The room was large and comfortable. The only complaint I would have was the noise level. My room was the first on the 2nd floor landing and the restroom for the pub customers was on the landing below mine. The door going into the restroom needs oiling! It was squeaky and I could hear the hand dryer everytime someone used it. The noise from outside was bad as well and the street seemed to be a major drag strip. It is a lovely old hotel."

However, a male staff member wearing glasses ignored my situation and refused my request, insisting that I use a credit card instead. I felt that his service lacked a customer-oriented attitude."

"Way to expensive for what they offered. Very disappointing. Yes they were within easy reach of the ship terminal but that's all they had. Rooms were extremely tired, poor emenities (not any). Everywhere definitely needed updating. Meals offered were over priced. Just because you happen to be close to the cruise terminal you shouldn't take advantage of people."

"We had an amazing 2 night stay prior to a cruise departing Sydney. The hotel location, hotel appearance inside & out, staff, room, and breakfast all earned the 5 star ratings. They had rooms ready & without asking, offered us early check-in. The rooms were well appointed, beds/pillows & linens very comfortable. The bathroom & large tub was welcomed after a long flight. Breakfast included in our selected room cost was exceptional. If ever in Sydney again (or any other city with a Paradox Hotel),...
