"My sister and I spent just a couple of nights here and truly fell in love with the house and staff. Every interaction was easy and kind, the house was incredibly well kept, and the grounds were gorgeous. It's located a bit out of the way which is perfect for minimizing crowds and noise! Our room was perfectly sized and the bed/bedding comfortable. All in all, a 10/10. Highly recommend to anyone in any stage of life."

Richard is a right bloke, would loved to have stayed up talking to him at the bar but after walking the local fells went to relax in the brilliant room. "Excellent check in staff, but found all staff polite and friendly. Nothing was to much trouble for them. We had a lake view and had been pre informed of the scaffolding outside our window, it did block the view but not too much. Unfortunately the very misty morning put paid to any view but obviously that’s nature. Would definitely return "
