"The room was clean and nice. Breakfast was lacking. The hot tub was cold. I let staff know and they didn’t do anything about it. I called down a few hours later and a different staff person had it taken care of in 10 minutes. Too late by then to use it. "

"The room was spacious and clean. We enjoyed having a table and chairs to sit at. The pool and hot tub were cozy. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They have coffee available all day in the lobby and tea and snacks in the afternoon. Location was very accessible to downtown Galena, and they offer a shuttle service during specific times in the day. Breakfast in the morning was excellent! There was a buffet of fruit, bread, yogurt, and juices. Breakfast is served individually and included eggs, wonderful potatoes, breakfast meat, and option for pancakes. The overall Irish atmosphere, decor, and attention to theme also made for a fun experience."

"Nothing was ready for breakfast. No eggs, no sausage, pancake batter that wasn’t mixed properly, horrible watery coffee, orange juice with basically water with orange food coloring. "

"The hotel was very nice and the communication from them leading up to the stay was excellent. I didn't like the fact that we couldn't control the room temperature ourselves, we had to text the owner to raise or lower the heat, and it was cold for awhile in the room when we arrived. Also, the location is not as close to the main street as described in the overview -- more than a block to the main street where shop and restaurants are. Also, street noise during the night was loud, as it is on the main drag through town. "

"Really a perfect stay! Clean, well-appointed, and very comfortable. The ability to walk outside onto Main St. was fantastic and made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We got amazing empanadas at the Galena Bakehouse just one block away, a coffee shop practically a step out the Main St. door, and it was nice to simply walk back after dinner. Location was everything. Host was communicative and thoughtful. Very attentive about how to work the door code device, but we didn't have any trouble. Comfy beds, easy stay. If you're interested but unsure, definitely check this stay out. You won't regret it. "
