"Although the reception, library room and breakfast area were fine this hotel is in need of renovation. We stayed two nights and found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Especially Julia on the front desk. Our beds were large and comfortable but the room was dated with taps not working and the toilet hard to flush. Breakfast was adequate. "We really enjoyed our stay at The White Hart a beautiful recently renovated hotel that is both comfortable and plush. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly . The location is really good close by the cathedral and castle."

"Located in Brayford Pool, where the old port wharf has been redeveloped like other cities (Gloucester etc) in has a car park and big multistorey next door as well.£10.40 for 24 hrs. Excellent position for relaxed dining and drinking on terraces/outdoors. Short walk to main High St shops. A significant climb up to the elevated section of the city with cafes,shops and the Cathedral and Castle. Spacious room, but a little expensive. Excellent air conditioning on hottest day of year . Excellent breakfast. Major disappointed was the bar staff's refusal to start up the coffee machine at 23.06 hrs for 2 cappuccinos at the "24 hr bar ". We did have a coffee machine in our room. We'd certainly stay there again."

"Check in was very easy and straightforward. My only negative on this is the time allowed in the car park at check in. We wanted to just drop our things off and then go but felt like we had to rush because of the time limit. Our room was clean and comfortable. All the staff we encountered were very pleasant and professional. The breakfast was an added bonus. Very tasty and plenty of choice. We love the convenience of the hotel. Would definitely recommend booking and will be back next year. 👍"

"Overall great stay. Very warm welcome. Really polite staff. Room was very spacious and clean. Self service breakfast was good with plenty of options. Bar area was good. Although there was a wedding on and I felt I didn't want to intrude. Next door there is a huge garden centre. And a hickory's restaurant. We Would Recomend."

"My partner and I recently stayed at Best Western Kenwick Park for three nights while celebrating our 10-year anniversary, and we had a wonderful time. One of the things we loved most was the location. It felt peaceful and tucked away from the hustle and bustle, yet it was still close enough to Skegness and other local attractions to make exploring the area easy. It offered the perfect balance of relaxation and convenience. The room was lovely, comfortable, and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. What really made the experience special, however, was the friendliness of the staff. Every member of the team we encountered was welcoming, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care that guests had a great stay. I rarely give a perfect score when reviewing hotels, as I can usually find something that could be improved. However, on this occasion, I honestly can’t think of anything that detracted from our experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary break from start to finish. We’ve already said that we may return around the same time next year, which is probably the best recommendation we can give. Thank you to everyone at Kenwick Park for helping make our anniversary celebration so memorable. 5/5 – Highly recommended."

"The hotel is minutes away from the centre of Newark. The lobby is inviting, lovely bar area with pool table and spacious dining room. The guests' outside area is clean and a pleasant place to relax. The staff were lovely, friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Our room, although not the biggest, had everything we needed including a fan which was welcome in the heatwave. Breakfast was plentiful and the guy overseeing it was extremely helpful and accommodating making sure everyone had what they wanted. The car park area and the almost derelict building beside the hotel is a bit off-putting but the hotel itself was fine. A wall light in our room didn't work, the wallpaper on the ceiling showed large patches of damp and the desk/dressing table glass top was cracked in several places. We didn't highlight these issues to the hotel as we were only there for one night. There was a bad drain smell throughout the hotel but I guess the hot weather made this more noticeable. Overall, it's a decent, friendly hotel and we will be using it again in the future."
