"Although the reception, library room and breakfast area were fine this hotel is in need of renovation. We stayed two nights and found the staff to be friendly and helpful. "A lovely unique old school hotel. Very nice staff & good old fashioned service. An excellent breakfast & good options on the drinks. Tea & coffee making facilities in the room & a nice little fridge with a couple of bottles of water in. I was also lucky to be able to use the hotel car park which is nearby & was included in the price. The only problem was the lack of air conditioning in the room. With ridiculously high temperatures whilst we were there made for an uncomfortable night. Overall a great place to stay & I would strongly recommend it."

"My partner and I recently stayed at Best Western Kenwick Park for three nights while celebrating our 10-year anniversary, and we had a wonderful time. One of the things we loved most was the location. It felt peaceful and tucked away from the hustle and bustle, yet it was still close enough to Skegness and other local attractions to make exploring the area easy. It offered the perfect balance of relaxation and convenience. The room was lovely, comfortable, and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. What really made the experience special, however, was the friendliness of the staff. Every member of the team we encountered was welcoming, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care that guests had a great stay. I rarely give a perfect score when reviewing hotels, as I can usually find something that could be improved. However, on this occasion, I honestly can’t think of anything that detracted from our experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary break from start to finish. We’ve already said that we may return around the same time next year, which is probably the best recommendation we can give. Thank you to everyone at Kenwick Park for helping make our anniversary celebration so memorable. 5/5 – Highly recommended."

"The hotel is minutes away from the centre of Newark. The lobby is inviting, lovely bar area with pool table and spacious dining room. The guests' outside area is clean and a pleasant place to relax. The staff were lovely, friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Our room, although not the biggest, had everything we needed including a fan which was welcome in the heatwave. Breakfast was plentiful and the guy overseeing it was extremely helpful and accommodating making sure everyone had what they wanted. The car park area and the almost derelict building beside the hotel is a bit off-putting but the hotel itself was fine. A wall light in our room didn't work, the wallpaper on the ceiling showed large patches of damp and the desk/dressing table glass top was cracked in several places. We didn't highlight these issues to the hotel as we were only there for one night. There was a bad drain smell throughout the hotel but I guess the hot weather made this more noticeable. Overall, it's a decent, friendly hotel and we will be using it again in the future."
