Convenience and cleanliness

The property is beautiful, the people are nice and best of all… I got a great night’s sleep. The breakfast was fabulous - get the eggs benedict. My only complaint, which is minor, please serve tea with the correct temp of hot water. I know tea drinkers are the minority but hot water will go a long way with us.

A Great Easy Location to get to & from to all of the eating establishments & attractions in the area. Upon check in, I was greeted warmly by a wonderful staffer, she made me feel welcome & offered any assistance during my Stay; later she gave me Fabulous Directions to the Conference I was attending + gave me a tasty menu recommendation when she gave me additional driving directions to meet friends for Dinner; she also directed me to the Airport the evening before I checked out. Very peaceful and relaxing property. I love the view from the loft. You can watch the sun rise straight from your bed. There is a very neat mediation point just steps from the cabin. Great for prayer and a quiet moment with God. The view of the river is gorgeous too and can be seen from loft and back porch area which has two rocking chairs and an area to make a fire.

Hotel is very nice and staff could not be more attentive.Can't beat the location for ease off transportation in all directions to VA,to I-81,to Bristol or Johnson City.Stay at various places in the area but because of VALUE,will be a regular repeat customer.

We always choose this hotel and have always enjoyed it.

The same price as national chains in the area but you get character, charm and great service. I had a fireplace in the room, original hardwood flooring in great shape; no chain can compare. Then, a friendly bar/restaurant on the main floor that the locals patronize almost had me singing the song from "Cheers".....where everybody knows your name.....

Clean, neat, comfortable, and staff were friendly. A great change from a chain hotel.

Our stay for 2 nights was heaven. The beds were like sleeping on a marshmallow. Just the right softness and I had no problem sleeping that night. We found everything so clean and inviting. It was a little outdated. The couch was low and so was the chair. I am handicapped and I had to be helped off the couch. It was uncomfortable also. The bathroom needs some sort of heavy glass. Traveled with Family from South Carolina to Greenville, TN, for a College Tour. The Hotel greeting staff was extremely friendly and our room was very nice and clean. The morning breakfast was great! I highly recommend it if you are ever in this neck of the woods.

The room had a musty smell. The staff was friendly and the building is beautiful.

I chose this hotel while interviewing at ETSU and was not disappointed. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the room clean, and the hotel quiet. We chose a room with a jacuzzi tub and it was a great way to relax after a long and exhausting day. The hotel is located close to many great restaurants and stores, so there are plenty of options to explore. The pillows were a little uncomfortable and I would recommend bringing your own, but otherwise a great stay!
