Hamilton Hotel Washington DC

"Upon arrival at the hotel we were greeted at the door and checked in quickly. The lobby had a health station for filling your water bottles. The rooms were smaller than expected but they were comfortable. The location was perfect for our visit. Food in the area was pricey. However there were a few places nearby to pick up essentials. The restaurant had a happy hour and we stopped in for a quick drink after our first excursion in the city. We sat at the bar and one of the employees ask us to move down in case a couple wanted to sit there. We moved to open up two stools. After watching other patrons come in and sit down without being asked to move we finished our drinks and didn’t return for the remainder of our stay."

"Great location! Near restaurants and water activities. When we arrived valet was hectic and we almost got a ticket from a cop even though the valet guys said we could park there..so just be careful where you park! However checkin was very quick. also requested more towels and trash removal but unfortunately nobody showed up so that frustrating but it was eventually taken care of. Checking out was difficult because we needed a luggage cart. We were told they share with another hotel and would call us when a cart became available. of course nobody called us. Overall despite a few things it was a nice stay and great location. Pet friendly which was a plus for us and the wharf is too."
