"When we arrived it was difficult to find anyone. It certainty wasn't a hotel, rather a very basic hostel, and the inside had painted concrete floors. Not like the photos on hotels.com. I found Boyd who was friendly, but said "we stopped using hotels.com months ago as they sold the rooms too cheap. Ask them for a refund and pay me cash, but we don't have rooms like the photos, I show you on my motorbike". He showed me another building with basic bunk beds and shared bathroom. Not what we booked....

"Great property, amazing staff. Pool was closed the first couple days and the water wasn't clear (didnt end up using the pool). A little far from center of town, and hard to hail a taxi or tuk tuk. recommend a ride share app if staying here. Breakfast is good, many options. definitely recommend. "

"Most hotels look inviting once you see the lobby and reception area - what you see later may be different. This hotel looks just uninviting from whatever perspective, run down. Staff was not very helpful. The breakfast was very basic. Maybe I should not complain too much, as it was cheap. However this was the only positive - and I believe even simple places can be made nice, neat, cozy, inviting. This place was none of these. The pictures are so far away from reality.
