"Spa was nice a little busy but not overwhelming. Bar staff could show a lot more courtesy and some general hospitality. We were left just standing at the bar for 5 minutes without even being acknowledged until one of the waitress came off the floor to take our order, felt slightly uncomfortable like we weren’t welcome. "Check-in was quick and staff were polite and helpful. Double room is very compact so only really comfortable for one person, but is quiet with good aircon. Although no kettle is provided you can get drinks from the vending machine in reception, including hot water. This hotel is next to high street shops so it's easy to buy food or eat out. There is a bus stop close by which is convenient for getting in and out of the Oxford. "

"Very friendly and accommodating staff. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the breakfast selection excellent. We did find our room too hot and there was a droning noise on and off all night which wasn’t related to the room itself. We mentioned it to the staff on check out and they immediately said they’d investigate. Excellent customer service throughout our stay. "
