"Everyone very friendly. I was very lucky to get an upgrade room, but I am sure they are all of the same standards re cleanliness and comfort.
Very good breakfast with choice of what you want cooked to order.

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Cherry Tree. The room and place were lovely and quite modern considering how old the building is.
There was only one shower towel and half a toilet roll when we checked into our room, as well as 1 of each tea/coffee so it seemed our room was prepared for one, however the staff were very helpful to sort this for us straight away.
The location was good for what we wanted, and we enjoyed a lovely evening in Chinnor (although be aware it's a 30 minute walk on...

"Basic needs met in a reasonably priced (including a free car park on site) hotel. Nothing to fault really. Reception / manager very friendly and efficient. Even though 2miles away from Slough town centre, it is served directly outside the door by a very frequent, nearly 24hrs bus service."

"Lovely place to stay if you’re planning a trip to Oxford; a short walk from the main tourist attractions, close by to West Gate Shopping centre and just a stone throw away from the Thames. Lovely staff was very helpful and accommodating, would definitely come back the next time we visit"

"I feel bad that I have had to give a mix rating because I feel everything about our stay was going well until I suffered food poisoning. I woke up at 2am in a lot of pain and spent two hours in the bathroom vomiting. Earlier that day I had the king prawns and at dinner I had the flat iron steak. Immediately after my dinner I felt a discomfort but did not think anything of it. When we checked out on 26th May I mentioned this to the receptionist who said there was nothing she could do and I should contact the manager. I’ve emailed the email address I was provided but not heard back from them. I’ve still not recovered from the incident which has made it even more difficult for me

"A really convenient hotel for central Oxford (and Blenheim) as close to the park and ride. There's a bus stop directly outside the hotel that takes you right into the centre of the city for less than £3 - meaning you can avoid the congestion & clean air zone charges by leaving the car in the huge car park. Reception is lovely, as are the staff, lots of little extras...free fruit, free cold drinks & spritz for the grown ups - which on the hotest day of the year was very welcome! The bedroom was spacious & the air con actually worked & the room cooled within minutes, which as the temps reached 34° was a huge bonus & meant we slept soundly! Only criticism would be, whilst the bedroom looked relatively newly renovated, the bathroom was dire!!! The bath had repairs around the edge with sharp edges on the bath side, the door hinges were orange with rust and the bottom of the door had huge chunks of psint missiing... tbf the whole bathroom felt like it hadn't been updated since the early 80s & it was tiny! The bedroom was huge & could easily have given space up to a larger bathroom. We only stayed for one night so didnt raise the issue with the poorly repaired bathroom with reception, but when I stay here again (and I will stay here again!) I will insist that the room we are given have a much better/updated bathroom next time."
"Convenient to Windsor castle parking cost receptacle at 10 pounds Large rooms meals were good overall clean and tidy value for money close to Heathrow"
"I’m not sure who keeps flocking the rating with good reviews, but if you’re booking the basic single room, just prepare yourself for stepping into a countryside rundown motel in the 1980s."
"Great hotel with loads of character. Perfect location for exploring Oxford and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning."
